rock en seine is an annual rock festival in paris. it's a three day festival with 3 main stages. this year's highlight band are oasis, mgmt, the prodigy, the offspring. aku tak larat (and broke, concerts aren't cheap) so we went for the last day where the main highlights are macy gray, mgmt and the prodigy.

so this is my playsuit yang beli sama ngan lina....i begged her for the blus one since i just bought blue ballerines as well.

mestilah sbab aku excited nak pakau baju baru. tapi in the future, seriously, stick with jeans buruk and a ratty t shirt.

tgk gambar ni macam deja vu. i think it's the exact same pose dlm byk gambar aku and backdrop pun lebey kurang. must have something to do with the photographer jugak.

food stands yang bervariasi at the venue. surprisingly lots of asian food, nasilah, goreng pisang lah, kuah kacang lah. raye ke? oh, yeah, mmg aku tak puase hari tu....dan2 je dah budget kan ;p

we met up with zayd, alvin (zayd's friend from london) and alan.
the guys buat2 hardcore.
"ish, macam delinquente." zayd had these tattoo tampal so i put one on my face *lamely doing rock and roll sign*
ni gambar lawak....while i was trying to snap a picture of alan's tattoos ....gambar tak muat masuk frame camera so i kept leaning backwards sampai terjatuh ke blakang (ye, aku clumsy) and snapped the picture while alan grabbed my feet.

music : we arrived at 16h30 just in time to watch macy gray. "i try" live SANGAT epic. i think i'm plutot mellow music that hard core metal.

pastu tgk les petits pois : mule2 igt sape ntah dorang ni...rupenye it's a secret band made out of members of famous bands. the drummer? dave grohl (i think, i don't remember dave grohl looking so old.)

the eagles of death metal : this was a nice surprise. aku igt it was gonna be some korn/kiss metal shit. but it was old school rock kapak yang familiar dan layan.

mgmt : the lead singer looked like joseph gordon-levitt tak? (ala, guy who played cameron on 10 things i hate about you movie). the guys didn't really warm up to them. tapi sgt suke "time to pretend". even if beb kate the singer muke cam tanak nyanyi je ;)

the prodigy : dgn semangatnye followed the guys sbab nak pegi depan. gosh. reality : rock concerts and prodigy fans do not mess around. i've been to muse concert. it was say, 30 minutes jumping and it's quite possible to just sway on your feet. not so with prodigy. it's this massive, trapped between sweaty bodies, lompat macam orang gile, getting your feet stepped on, cool electronic lighting, for a whole hour. and when people jump you HAVE to jump too to keep the rhythm of the crowd or risk getting trampled to death. i mean, it was fun for the first 30 mins. then i really had to pee and jumping would NOT help.

selepas cuba membersihkan kasut. the terrain is grass and pasir.....lepas lompat2 bygkan satu badan berdebu. and after inhaling ciggie smoke, weed smoke and god knows what....i'm sure my lungs hitam macam "!@"#!§*%

nak tau satu fact yang sangat gross? lepas concert kalo ade yg terkorek hidung mesti hasilnye warna hitam. serious!

baju beb siap ade kesan cucuh rokok, some stoned idiot yang smoked while jumping in a crowd.

all in all, me and mell must've been crazy to contemplate going just us girls. sbab the guys gile sweet protect aku from getting trampled.

next time, go for mellower bands and t-shirt buruk and jeans koyak2. and boots kalo tanak kaki kene pijak.
