the mission continues. room.
now, when my dad remarried i told him to put whatever of mama's stuff in my room and i'll sort it out. basically, my en suite bathroom had become a store room full of things and my 1st mission would be unclogging it.
i have had to pick up berpuluh-puluh dead cockroaches under the the plastic bags. i'm not kidding, they're sort of crunchy, like bole buat lemak cili api. except for, gross, sbb kaki diorang asik patah when i pungut. sesungguhnya aku dah tak larat nak gross dgn bende² camni.
anyway, there are amazing treasures in my bathroom! like, my baby clothes, my old school stuff. and my mom's clothes when she was young! i feel 6 years old trying my mom's clothes.
mama was taller and slightly bigger. so, still macam budak kecil curik² pakai baju mak. but, especially if you're into vintage clothing, raiding your mom's old closet holds a lot of potential.
*terkejut* if only mama was here i could've asked, WHY does it have to be that shade of yellow??? second question would be would any of my friends talk to me if i were to wear that in public? (it's actually really pretty if you disregard the gruesome colour). third question, can i just wear the top as a dress?
and this is where a gust of wind sweeps into the room reminding me that my mom would kill me if she was here.
it's funny, looking at her old photos, i love her style. but growing up i fought with her so much over what to wear.
la di da.
