it's the nature of humans to be greedy. the more you have, the more you thirst for more.
the more you get paid, the higher your living standards rise. dulu, pakai kancil tak kisah pon, skarang kene jugak beli vios .
dulu, tak tergoda langsung dengan ipad (i still think of it as a giant iphone), skarang, just because you can buy it, nak jugak. pastu tak pakai.
kesimpulannya : you get stuck in a rat race, always going after something more and never being satisfied with the things you do have. you work like crazy, take pride in the material things you can buy and feel absolutely nothing inside.
here, everything is expensive, everything comes at a price. and you'll only realise how much when you start working. but how can people afford things? well, they just do. they sacrifice and buy things on credit and scrimp and save and eat at the smelly foodcourt every day.
you work so much that you fell like you deserve those spa weekends and those Ferragamo shoes and eating RM100 meals.
then you end up right where you started. wanting more, never satisfied. it's all such a waste.
at the end of the day, the best things in life, they come free. spending time with friends, the simple things like walks in the park, eating asam pedas at hawkers stall.
like :)
