random thoughts from the week :

so i've had a pretty busy and interesting week. basically i rolled off my previous role at the office and have basically nothing to do for the next month.

so how did i spend the first week of the year? here are some random happenings that has been filling the complicated mind of norasyikin.

• on new year's day i realized that my exhaust is totally hancur (through old age and rust) and is currently burning the back of my jeep bumper.
• i permed my hair. i spent the whole 3 hours at the salon staring at the guy doing my hair because he was so cute! not pretty boy cute. more like, blur cute - results were not so drastic i.e i did not turn into a lionness. mild curls, i have no complains, we start small.
• i spent thursday morning at kompleks mahkamah because shan asked me to sign her sijil kelakuan baik (girl just finished her chambering yo! sooo proud of her). i came in skinny jeans and slippers (she did not know this). while she was filing her papers i sat in on some cases in court which was FUNNY. fun facts :

1. did you know that you CANNOT wear slippers into court? i did not. explains why everyone looked at me funny.
2. all lawyers say "I put it to you". WTF is THAT???
3. everyone wears black and white. it was kind of freaky.
4. the judges will tear the lawyers a new one. they are quite garang one.
5. there is a room called bilik akhlak there. found that hilarious.

• had take a break wednesday with some people from work in which i finally found out that a virgin mojito tastes like limau ais yang sangat masam.
• watched the entire 2 seasons of "the walking dead". the zombie world here is not as glamourous as i once thought it would be. zombieland just totally painted a false picture.
• i just role my next role and apparently i'll be in singapore for the rest of the year starting february - wooo hoooo before death in stress!!!
• HIGHLIGHT : dinner with dave and lily last night! it has been forrrreeeever!!!
