now that i think about it...i have loads of work actually. seriously there's so many things i could put in a rapport if i would only start it. the meeting went well and ade je boss aku tu nak tambah keje.....at least nanti aku tak bosan.
i am wondering, though...how do i negociate a cuti? the french (and the not so timid unlike yours truly) would just casually ask. but in the land of passive aggressiva, ça se fait pas.
oh... i really want to just cabut early today and shop a little....i'm sure saturday would be absolute murder and i hate crowds and have absolutely no talent berebut barang mase sales. i just want a small pair of ballerines, one pair of shoes and a bag. nak shopping!!!! sikit je.....
that's it. 17h30 i'm really gonna chow....singgah opera jap then forum les halles.....will be home by 8 (will absolutely not spend more than 70 euros!) and really have to go to laverie before 9....life here is busy! i never have time to be lazy now. nak tgk satu movie pon punye ar seksa berkejar2 antara 2 wayang.
btw, have been spending the nights at farah's.....makan sedap!! (jgn jealous ye) .....i know it's psychological but i really feel healthy (i wanna say fat but since i'm not actually fat....well-fed lah.) here's the thing, there's some travaux in my building and yesterday they apparently burst a pipe so there wasn't any water. i took a look at my mangy 2-hari-tak-basuh hair and perut yang sakit and frooommm...... totally fled to farah's house.
but not to worry weekend visitors : it's supposed to be repaired today. i say this because :
a. lina, candu and maiya are coincidentally coming this weekend! i sense outrageous shopping trips and tourism paris.
b. the affiche in the building says the pipe will be repaired by this afternoon but this is france...
on second thought, i happen to think that the french are efficient in these things...i have every confidence that there will be hot and cold water waiting for me at home.
i spent the morning deciding that if maiya decides to go into the louvre i will buy the Louvre Jeune carte. For 15e free admission for a year. i know, i'll only be in paris for 2 more months and never have time to go to the Louvre anyway....but i've always wanted one! and there's like opera screenings on film for 3e in the louvre auditorium....anyone in?
tsk....resolution stemming from the fact that i have not one fete de la musique photo in all these years : must take more pictures and live up to the asian stereotype.
