everybody's favourite shopaholic is on the big screen at last. and yes, it's the girl from "definitely maybe". not to be confused with the girl from "enchanted". they look alike kan?
i always thought a huge part of the charm is the english-ness of the character. maybe we've all been so americanised but when you read a book set in london there's something charming, quaint and so......adorable about it. maybe it's because becky's all kalut and outrageous but talks (in my head) in that posh polite british tone.
the movie's set in the us. though i think luke is english in the movie. i'm not terribly fond of my favourite books adapted to the big screen - they never seem to gel with my expectations.
