well, beb made a valid point hari tu.
he said it's not like you never lied to your mom. doesn't mean you don't love her. score! that IS a valid point. we're always in denial : i don't tell my mom when troubling things happen, or any sentences with beb in it anymore - as far as she's concerned we broke up and i never spoke to him again. i talk about school as blandly as i can. i don't tell her i wear skirts (she knows but the lectures are goddamn long. she strangely has some vague idea that i would be this lemah lembut baju kurung wearing person ???). bref, i don't tell her things she doesn't want to hear.
i don't tell her because i want to protect her. because it's not a big deal.
and according to beb, guys lie to girls for exactly the same reasons. because it's not a big deal.
so okay. i've processed it all. i did not want to be one of those nightmare girls who's jealous over everything. i never got jealous before the whole you-had-a-gf thing. it's a humbling experience. and so dramatic i don't care to repeat it everytime i find a msg, or phone record or whatever.
anyway, bygones. here's my measure of trust : try not to lie, because then i'll just mysteriously sense it and be mean. just tell me, i won't be dramatic about it. and if you must lie, tell me when it becomes serious. deal?
and in return, i won't be a crazy, paranoid bitch. so please don't get all unreasonable male on me just because i had dinner with a guy friend. stop keeping score lah...aku dah penat.
*just a tip though. if you really wanna find out, be thorough. there emails, facebook msg, friendster msg, the other email, skype history, skype call history, phone msg, credit card history, msn conversations, browser history, her blog, his blog, everyone has blogs, her frends' blogs. and if they're as neurotic as you and delete everything : go old school : interrogation and intimidate their friends and suspects. i know for a fact that beb is pretty careful, deletes everything and doesn't leave an informatique trail. but that's no garantie against a determined female. ha, bet you're scared of me now huh...so you should be.
