Again, early morning adventures of Syikin

I was supposed to go back to Johor Thursday night. But I went to emo rant at Lynn and Maiya about wedding stuff pastu sedar2 dah midnight. So I decided to leave at 4am on Friday.

Earlier, when I went to Lynn's office I had a problem with my car windows. Boleh bukak pastu tak boleh tutup. Yes, Vivy is getting old. And falling apart.

And of course, the moment I realised tak bole tutup, it just HAD to rain thunderstorms. Lynn was already looking for cling wrap in her office. Cling wrap! Pastu berangan nak balik Johor in the rain with only cling wrap on my windows (driver side).

Luckily, banging on the door helped and windows suddenly went back up. Crisis averted.

Then at 4am, I accidentally flipped the switch again when I was reversing out from my apartment to go back Johor.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

By now it was halfway open.

I panicked to Lynn. To go or not to go? This time, no amount of kicking, hitting the door could get the window back up. I know, cos I spent 40 minutes doing that.

I kept imagining getting mugged at traffic lights.

Girl gets knifed at the highway a month before her wedding.

Don't say I never get scared when I do stupid things. I always get scared. I just do it anyway.

Even if I stayed, I couldn't get the windows back up, and the car was full of hantaran stuff that I would have to transport back up.

Lynn say just go la, drive slowly.

WTF, I got scared and drove 150km/h all the way. Reached Pasir Gudang in 3 hours.

It was bloody cold ok. And you smell and see all sorts of weird shit on the highway. Lorry bilis la. And it just had to rain the moment I crossed Johor border. For like 15 minutes. Like, KENA every single time.

Arrived safely at 8am. And dad managed to take apart my door and window in 10 minutes to tell me my switch rosak.

Thank god for dads.
